New website for Yorkshire’s Booksellers
Ken Spelman in York have launched their new website Yorkbooksellers.co.uk which will be a great resource for buyers and sellers alike.
Anything which brings knowledgeable and independent sellers together with customers who like excellent service is good news for the book trade. This splendid site gives the websites and contact details of the many, many booksellers within York and the three ridings of Yorkshire, including at least seven from ibooknet.
Starting within the city of York the site is imaginatively organised into ‘drives’ out of York in the various directions, each lasting about 50 miles, with the booksellers en route detailed (not booksellers have shops or are open to the public so care must be taken when planning a journey).
Other resources include links to reference sites relating to Yorkshire libraries, literary and bibliographical societies, publishing and Yorkshire authors, as well as tourism information.
